Old Goa, also known as Velha Goa, is a historical city in Goa, India, located on the banks of the Mandovi River. The city was the capital of the Portuguese colony of Goa, from 1510 to 1835. The city was abandoned after the Portuguese transferred the capital to Panjim (now Panaji) in 1835.

The city has been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO because of its many historical buildings, most of which are Catholic churches. These include the Basilica of Bom Jesus, the Se Cathedral, and the Church of St. Francis of Assisi. The city is also home to the Chapel of St. Catherine, the only surviving building from the original Portuguese fortifications.
