Ranthambhore National Park is one of the largest and most famous national parks in India, covering an area of 392 km². The park is located in the Sawai Madhopur district of southeastern Rajasthan, about 160 km from Jaipur. Ranthambore is best known for its large tiger population and is one of the few places where tigers can be seen in the wild. The park is also home to leopards, Indian bison, sambar deer, chital deer, nilgai, sloth bears, and crocodiles.
