Takestan

Takestan is a small town in the Qazvin Province of Iran. It is located about 150 km northwest of Tehran, the capital of Iran. Takestan is a historic town, and its origins date back to the Sasanian Empire. The town is known for its beautiful hand-woven carpets and for the Takestani rug, one of the most expensive and prized carpets in the world.
