Nishinomiya is a small city located in the Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. It is best known as the birthplace of manga artist and animator Hayao Miyazaki, as well as the location of Kansai International Airport. Nishinomiya is a pleasant city with a population of just over 500,000. It has a number of interesting attractions, including a large shopping district, a number of temples and shrines, and a beautiful park. Nishinomiya is also home to a thriving nightlife, with a large number of bars and clubs.
