Namibia
Namibia is a country located in southern Africa. It is bordered by Angola to the north, Botswana to the east, and South Africa to the south and east. Namibia is a desert country and the capital city is Windhoek.
The Namib Desert is one of the oldest deserts in the world and is definitely worth a visit. The Etosha National Park is another great place to visit. The park is home to a variety of animals, including lions, elephants, and rhinos. There are a number of interesting historical sites, such as the German colonial town of Swakopmund, the ancient rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, and the world's largest meteorite crater, the Hoba Meteorite. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities.
Namibian cuisine is a mix of African, German, and Dutch influences. Common dishes include stewed meats, grilled meats, and a variety of salads. Namibia also has a number of excellent wines. Some of the most popular dishes include braai (barbecue), potjiekos (a type of stew), and kudu (a type of antelope).
