Akagera National Park

Akagera National Park is a 1,500-square-mile (3,860-square-kilometer) reserve in eastern Rwanda. The park is bisected by the Akagera River, which forms a series of lakes and wetlands.

The park is home to a variety of animals, including lions, elephants, Cape buffalo, and zebras. The park also has a large population of hippos.
