At 2,429 metres above sea level, Sustenpass is one of the highest mountain passes in the Alps. The winding road through the pass is a popular route for cyclists and motorcyclists, and offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks. The pass is also a great spot for hiking, with a number of trails leading into the surrounding mountains. In winter, the area is a popular ski resort, with a number of slopes and ski lifts.
