Võru

Võru is a small town in southern Estonia that’s home to a large population of ethnic Russians. The town is best known for its annual Jazz Festival, which takes place in July and attracts performers and fans from all over the world. Võru also has a well-preserved old town centre, with a number of churches and other historical buildings. The town is a convenient base for exploring the surrounding countryside, including the impressive Kõrvemaa National Park.
