Torrejón de Ardoz is a small town located in the Community of Madrid, Spain. It is situated in the northeast of the Community of Madrid, bordering the provinces of Cuenca and Guadalajara. The town has a population of approximately 35,000 inhabitants.
The town is best known for its Torrejón Air Base, a Spanish Air Force base which is also home to the Spanish Air Force Academy. The base is the largest in the Iberian Peninsula.
