Aasiaat is a small town in Greenland with a population of just over 2,000. It's located in the Disko Bay and is the main town in the Qeqertalik municipality. The town is known for its colorful houses, which are built on stilts to protect them from the harsh winters and the high tides. Aasiaat is also a popular fishing town and is home to the Aasiaat Airport.
