Saga is a small city on the island of Kyushu, Japan. It's most famous for its proximity to the ancient city of Fukuoka and for being the birthplace of the Japanese empress Himiko. The city is home to a large number of temples and shrines, as well as a few excellent museums. The main attraction, however, is the large number of small shops and restaurants, which make for a great place to explore. The city is also home to a large number of students, so there is always something going on.
