Erdenet is a small city in Mongolia that is home to one of the world's largest copper mines. The city is located in the Orkhon Valley, and is surrounded by mountains. The city has a population of just over 100,000, and is the second-largest city in Mongolia. The city is a popular tourist destination because of its location and the many historical and cultural sites in the area.
