Zapopan is a city in the Mexican state of Jalisco. It is the fourth largest city in the state and is located about 15 minutes west of the state capital of Guadalajara. The city is best known as the home of the Virgin of Zapopan, a Roman Catholic pilgrimage site. The city is also home to the headquarters of the Tequila Intercontinental Group, the largest tequila producer in the world.
