Zeewolde is a lakeside town in the province of Flevoland, Netherlands. It is situated in the middle of the country, about 25 km east of the city of Amsterdam. Zeewolde is a popular tourist destination, especially in the summer, because of its many recreational opportunities, including sailing, fishing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, cycling, and hiking. The town is also home to a large number of expatriates, many of whom work for the Dutch branch of IBM.
