Cockburn Town

Cockburn Town is the historical and cultural heart of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Located on the island of Grand Turk, the town is home to the Parliament, the main post office, the public library, and a number of other government buildings. It also boasts a colorful and well-preserved colonial architecture, and a lively local culture. There are several museums and art galleries, as well as a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. The town is also a great base for exploring the rest of the island, and for diving and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of the Turks and Caicos.
