Dinant

Dinant is a small city on the banks of the Meuse River in southern Belgium. It’s known for its imposing citadel, which lords over the city centre. The citadel was built in the Middle Ages to protect the city from invaders, and its well-preserved ramparts and towers are a major tourist attraction. The city is also home to a number of beautiful churches, including the Collegiate Church of Notre Dame, and a lively arts and nightlife scene. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the city centre, and the local specialty is a type of cheese called Dinant.
