The mountain town's core is a walkable village with stone-paved streets, where you'll find restaurants like La Quintessence and shops housed in colorful Alpine-style buildings.

Summer Activities
The Circuit Mont-Tremblant racing track hosts major events from May through October, including Formula One and Can-Am races. Historical Development
The Algonquin people named this place the "trembling mountain" because of its quaking rocks. In 1872, Father Antoine Labelle founded the first European settlement, which became a formal parish in 1879. The area's transformation into a ski resort began in 1939 when Joseph Bondurant Ryan built the first chair lift on the north side of the mountain.
