Fredericia is an old fortress town in the Jutland peninsula of Denmark. Its well-preserved ramparts and narrow streets make it a popular tourist destination, and its location on the east coast of the peninsula means that there are plenty of beaches and seaside activities available in the area. The town is also home to a large number of cultural attractions, including a theatre, a museum of art, and a number of churches. Fredericia is a convenient base for exploring the rest of the peninsula, and is well connected to the rest of Denmark by train and bus.
