Brioude is a small town in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. It’s best known for its beautiful Romanesque basilica, one of the largest in France. The town is also a great base for exploring the surrounding countryside, with lots of hikes and cycling routes to choose from. There are a few restaurants and bars in town, as well as a couple of small supermarkets, but for the most part, Brioude is a place to relax and take in the natural beauty of the area.
