Rethel is a small town in the north-east of France, in the Champagne-Ardenne region. It is located on the banks of the Aisne River, and is surrounded by rolling hills and forests. The town is famous for its association with the French Revolution, and is home to the Musée de la Révolution. The town is also home to a number of beautiful churches, including the Cathédrale Notre-Dame, and the Chapelle Sainte-Croix. There are a number of small shops and restaurants in the town centre, and the locals are friendly and welcoming.
