Rezé is a small town in the Loire-Atlantique department in western France. It is located on the north bank of the Loire River, about 20 kilometres east of Nantes. The town is best known for its association with the Loire River and the Atlantic Ocean. The town has a population of about 16,000 and is a popular tourist destination.
