Zugdidi is a small city in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region of Georgia. It is located on the banks of the Enguri River and is the capital of the Zugdidi Municipality. The city is home to the University of Zugdidi and the Zugdidi Botanical Garden. Zugdidi is home to a large number of Georgian Jews.
