The journey to get here is half the fun, as the winding road hugs the dramatic coastline, offering sensational views of the Aegean Sea. When you finally reach the cape, you’ll find the ruins of the Temple of Poseidon, one of the most significant archaeological sites in Greece. The views from the temple are simply breathtaking, with the deep blue sea stretching out as far as the eye can see. After soaking up the views, be sure to wander down to the beach for a swim or a spot of sunbathing. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even take a swim to the nearby island of Moni.
Tell us about it! Is it place worth visiting, are you coming back?
