Gurugram, or Gurgaon as it was formerly known, is a city in the Indian state of Haryana. It is located on the outskirts of New Delhi, and is part of the National Capital Region of India. The city is well known as a major financial and industrial hub of northern India. It is also home to a large number of outsourcing companies.
