Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan is a country located in Central Asia. It is bordered by the Caspian Sea to the west, Uzbekistan to the north, Kazakhstan to the northeast, and Afghanistan to the southeast. The capital of Turkmenistan is Ashgabat and the official language is Turkmen.

Turkmenistan is a land of ancient cities, snow-capped mountains, and beautiful desert landscapes. The country is home to the ruins of the ancient city of Merv, which was once one of the largest cities in the world, and the ruins of the ancient city of Nisa, which was the capital of the Parthian Empire. The country is also home to the Darvaza Gas Crater, a natural gas field that has been on fire for over 40 years.
