Morogoro is a small city in Tanzania located about 135 km west of Dar es Salaam. It is the capital of the Morogoro Region. The city is a commercial center and the main transport hub for the agricultural and horticultural products of the surrounding rural area. It also has an important role in the trade of coffee, cotton, and other commodities. The city is home to the University of Dar es Salaam's Morogoro Campus.
