Carrollton is a small town in the state of Texas in the United States of America. It is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Carrollton is best known for its annual Texas Renaissance Festival, which is one of the largest Renaissance festivals in the country. The town also has a number of other annual events, including a chili cook-off, a car show, a Fourth of July parade and it also has a number of churches and a library.

Carrollton seems like a pretty nice place to live, especially if you enjoy getting around by car. For a visitor, it did not have so much to offer except lots of good fast-food chains (which I really enjoy!).
There was easy access to Dallas by the commuter train which was nice, and I really enjoyed our visit to Babe's Chicken Dinner House in downtown Carrollton for some chicken and other comfort food.
