Estes Park is the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Colorado. Located 7,522 feet above sea level, it is the highest incorporated town in the United States. Visitors can take in breathtaking views of Longs Peak and the Continental Divide. There are plenty of outdoor activities to choose from, including hiking, fishing, and horseback riding. Estes Park is home to the Stanley Hotel, which was famously the inspiration for Stephen King’s novel The Shining.
