Lorain is a city in northeastern Ohio, located on the shores of Lake Erie. It is the county seat of Lorain County. The population was 64,097 at the 2010 census. The city is the home of the Black River Music Festival, which draws tens of thousands of people to the city every year.
Lorain is home to the largest steel mill in North America, the Severstal Steel Mill. The mill is one of the largest employers in the city. Lorain is also home to the Lorain County Community College, which is the largest community college in the state of Ohio.
