Molokai is the most secluded and least developed of the major Hawaiian Islands. Molokai is a place where you can find total relaxation and peace. It is a place where you can find yourself. The island was once the stronghold of the world's largest leper colony. Today, the leper colony is gone, but the sense of remoteness and mystery remains. There are no traffic lights, no stop signs, and only a few stores and restaurants. The island is approximately 55 miles long and just over 10 miles wide. The population of Molokai is just over 7,000 people.
