Redmond is a city in King County, Washington, United States, located 16 miles (26 km) east of Seattle. The population was 54,144 at the 2010 census. Redmond is best known as the home of Microsoft and Nintendo of America. With a population of over 54,000, Redmond is the third largest city in King County, after Seattle and Bellevue. Redmond is bordered by Kirkland to the west, Bellevue to the southwest, and Issaquah to the southeast.
