Valeria del Mar is a small coastal village in Buenos Aires Province, between Pinamar and Cariló. Walk along its 3-kilometer beach, swim in the Atlantic Ocean, or cycle through residential streets lined with 70-year-old pine trees. Stop at beachfront restaurants to taste fresh corvina and pejerrey caught by local fishermen, or browse handmade crafts at the evening markets in the main square.
Getting to Valeria del Mar
The village sits 360 kilometers from Buenos Aires, making it accessible for a weekend trip or longer stay. Regular bus services run from Buenos Aires' Retiro terminal, with the journey taking approximately 5 hours. During summer months, advance booking becomes essential as coastal routes fill up quickly. You can also drive via Route 2 and then Route 11, following the coastal road.

The beach has wheelchair-accessible wooden walkways at main entry points.
