Schwaz is a small town in the Tyrol region of Austria, located at the foot of the Rofan mountain range. The town is best known for its silver mining history, and the many museums and attractions related to this industry. Schwaz is also a great base for exploring the mountains, with plenty of hiking and skiing trails in the area.
