Etterbeek is one of the 19 municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. The municipality is bilingual, consisting of a French-speaking and a Dutch-speaking part. Etterbeek is bordered by the City of Brussels, Ixelles, Saint-Gilles, and the Forest of Soignes. It is home to the European Union's main administrative buildings (the Berlaymont building and the Charlemagne building), as well as the residence of the Belgian Prime Minister.
