It is best known for its annual Rose Festival, which takes place every June and celebrates the region’s long tradition of rose cultivation. The town is also home to a beautiful historic centre, with a picturesque market square and a wealth of half-timbered houses. Dülmen is a great base for exploring the Münsterland region, which is full of rolling hills, lakes and forests.
