Chauny

Chauny is a small town in Picardy, northern France, situated on the Oise River. The town is best known for its 12th century cathedral, which is one of the best examples of Early Gothic architecture in France. The imposing structure looms over the town and can be seen from many miles away. The town also has a rich history, with a number of interesting medieval buildings and monuments. There are also a few good restaurants and bars in the town, and the locals are friendly and welcoming. Chauny is a great place to visit if you want to experience a traditional French town and see some beautiful medieval architecture.
