Nogent-le-Rotrou

Nogent-le-Rotrou is a small town in the Perche, a hilly area in the north-west of France. It's best known for its impressive, well-preserved medieval castle. The town is also a good base for exploring the surrounding countryside, with its forests, rolling hills and ancient villages. There are several good restaurants in Nogent-le-Rotrou, as well as a couple of lively bars. The town is also home to a traditional weekly market.
