Tulle is a sleepy little town in the Limousin region of France. It's best known as the birthplace of the tulle lace fabric. The town is situated on the banks of the Corrèze River and is surrounded by forests and rolling hills. The main square is surrounded by historic buildings, including the 12th-century cathedral. There are also a few interesting museums, including the Museum of Resistance and Deportation and the Museum of Fine Arts. The town is a great base for exploring the surrounding countryside, including the beautiful waterfall at Château de Val. There are also a few good restaurants and a couple of breweries.
