Indonesia

Indonesia is an archipelago of more than 17,000 islands located in Southeast Asia between the Indian and Pacific oceans. It is the world's largest island country and is home to the world's fourth largest population. The capital city is Jakarta, on the island of Java.

Indonesia is a diverse country, with hundreds of ethnic groups and languages. The main religion is Islam, but there are also large populations of Hindus, Buddhists, and Christians. The country is known for its beautiful beaches, volcanoes, and rainforests. Bali is a popular tourist destination, known for its surfing, diving, and resorts.

Indonesian cuisine is influenced by Chinese, Indian, Middle Eastern, and European cuisine. Rice is the staple food, and dishes are often cooked in coconut milk or spices. Common dishes include nasi goreng (fried rice), satay (grilled meat skewers), and rendang (beef stew).
