Aressa is a small village in the province of Cuneo, in the north-west of Italy. It is situated in the upper Valle Maira, at an altitude of 1,300 metres. The village is built around the Romanesque parish church of Santa Maria Assunta, which dates back to the 12th century. The village is a popular tourist destination, with visitors coming to enjoy the natural surroundings and the traditional architecture. There are also a number of ski resorts in the area.
