Casarano

Casarano is a small town in the province of Lecce, in the Apulia region of southern Italy. It is a quiet, unassuming place, with a sleepy old centre surrounded by modern developments. The main attraction is the Norman-Byzantine Cathedral, which is one of the most important churches in Apulia. There are also a few interesting churches and palaces, and a couple of good restaurants.
