Jesi is a small town in the Marche region of Italy, located in the province of Ancona. It is best known for being the birthplace of the composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi. The town is a convenient base for exploring the beautiful beaches of the Adriatic coast, as well as the mountainous inland region. Jesi is a pleasant town with a well-preserved historic centre.
