Otieri/Ozieri

Otieri/Ozieri is a hidden gem in the heart of Sardinia. A small town of about 5,000 inhabitants, it is a picturesque medieval village located in the province of Sassari, in the north-west of the island. The town is built on a hill and is surrounded by green hills and valleys. The old part of the town is a maze of narrow streets and alleyways, with houses and churches dating back to the Middle Ages. The main square, Piazza Garibaldi, is a beautiful square with a 17th-century baroque church and a statue of Garibaldi.
