Just outside the Tokyo metropolis, Chofu is a small city with a big heart. With a population of under 200,000, the city is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Surrounded by hills and forests, Chofu is a great place for hiking, cycling and exploring. The city is also home to a large Japanese garden, which is well worth a visit. Chofu is also famous for its ceramics, and there are a number of pottery shops and studios in the city. There are also a number of temples and shrines in Chofu, making it the perfect place to experience traditional Japanese culture.
