Taito

Tokyo's Taito district is an eclectic mix of old and new, East and West. The narrow streets are crammed with shops, restaurants and teahouses, while the neon-lit streets of Akihabara are just a few minutes away. There's something for everyone in Taito, from trendy fashion boutiques to traditional Japanese souvenir shops. The area is also home to some of Tokyo's most famous attractions, including the Sensoji Temple and the Tokyo National Museum. As well as being a great place to shop and sightsee, Taito is also one of the best places in Tokyo to eat and drink. There are dozens of great restaurants and bars to choose from, and the locals are always happy to recommend their favourites.
