Bochotnica is a small village in southern Poland, located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It is situated in the Nowy Sącz County, about 5 km from the town of Nowy Sącz. The village has a population of about 1,000 people. Bochotnica is a popular tourist destination, thanks to its beautiful location in the Pieniny Mountains and the nearby Dunajec River Gorge. The village is also known for its production of traditional Polish cheese, called bryndza.
