Głogów is a small city in western Poland, located on the River Oder. It is an old city, first mentioned in a document from the year 1005. The city is home to a beautiful old town square, complete with a Renaissance town hall and a number of Gothic and Renaissance churches. There are also a few interesting museums, including the Regional Museum, which has exhibits on the history and culture of the region, and the Museum of Weapons, which has a large collection of weapons from throughout history. Głogów is also home to a number of breweries, including the famous Żywiec Brewery, and there are a number of restaurants and pubs in the city centre.
