Kłodzko is a charming small town in the foothills of the Sudetes mountain range in southern Poland. It is a popular tourist destination, thanks to its well-preserved medieval old town, surrounded by a fortified wall with gates and towers. The town is also home to the Kłodzko Valley, a nature reserve with a wide variety of flora and fauna, and the Kłodzko Dam, a hydroelectric power station on the Nysa Kłodzka river. Kłodzko is well known for its mineral springs, and there are several health resorts in the town and its surroundings.
