Łobez is a small town in north-western Poland, situated on the banks of the river Łupawa. It is a popular tourist destination, thanks to its well-preserved medieval architecture and numerous monuments. The most famous landmark is the Church of St. John the Baptist, which is one of the oldest brick churches in the country. Łobez is also home to a number of other interesting historical buildings, including the town hall, the old market square and the defensive walls. There are several museums and art galleries in the town, as well as a number of pubs and restaurants.
