Pabianice is a small town in the Łódź Voivodeship, Poland. It is located about 25 kilometers (16 mi) southeast of the city of Łódź. Pabianice is one of the most important towns in the Łódź region. It is an important railroad junction, and has textile, food, and metal industries. Pabianice is also the site of the Pabianice Power Station, the largest coal-fired power plant in Poland.
